Mihir Ranjan Biswas, Khulna : Khulna Shiromani motorcycle and truck collided head-on. The accident took place at 8:30 pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in the area of Shiromani Web Jute Mill.
Police and eyewitnesses said that a motorcycle (Khulna Metro Law 11-3311) heading from Khulna to Fultala collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction in the area of Shiromani Web Jute Mill. Hasib, 33, son of Abu Hasan of Zeropoint Rupshi Palli area, was hit by a rear wheel of a truck and died on the spot. Urmi Sardar Ritu (25) was injured in the incident and was rescued by the locals and admitted to Shiromani Linda Clinic.
Khanjahan Ali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Prabir Kumar Biswas confirmed the information.
