Azizur Rahman, Keshabpur (Jessore) Correspondent : At the invitation of Jessore-6 Keshabpur MP and Jessore District Awami League General Secretary Shahin Chakladar, on the occasion of Mujib Year, newly elected chairman of Panjia UP Jasim Uddin started building houses among the homeless in Panjia of Keshabpur Upazila.
It has been reported that Rafiqul Islam Sardar, son of late Ohed Ali Sardar of Manoharnagar Patharghata village in Panjia union of the upazila was living a miserable life with his wife and two children due to lack of a house. At the invitation of Shahin Chakladar, Member of Parliament for Jessore-6 Keshabpur constituency and General Secretary of Jessore District Awami League, Jasim Uddin, newly elected Chairman of Panjia UP, has officially started construction of a pucca house for Rafiqul Islam Sardar with his own funds on the occasion of Mujib Year.
Jasim Uddin, the newly-elected chairman of Panjia UP, inaugurated the foundation stone of the house on Thursday morning, January 13, 2022.
Among others Nazrul Islam Khan, former vice-president of Upazila Awami League, Yar Mahmud, former chairman of joint secretary, Jahangir Alam, former president of Panjia Union Juba League, Hadiuzzaman, former joint convener, Habibur Rahman, joint convener of Panjia Union Swechchhasebak League were present. Convener Zahidur Rahman Rubel, joint convener of Panjia Union Juba League Habibur Rahman Habib, Dalim Biswas of Panjia Union Swechchhasebak League, Jasim Uddin, Abdur Razzak, Chhatra League leader Imran Hossain, Raju Ahmed, Burhan Uddin, Billal Hossain, Shahinur Rahman.
