Asashuni (Satkhira) Correspondent : Winter clothes (blankets) have been officially distributed among the heroic freedom fighters of Asashuni Upazila.
A blanket distribution ceremony was organized on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Upazila Muktijoddha Complex.
Former Commander of Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad Abdul Hannan presided over the function and inaugurated the distribution of blankets as the chief guest, said Upazila Executive Officer Nazmul Hussain Khan. Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Sohag Khan, Union Freedom Fighter Commanders of different Unions were present on the occasion.
200 blankets have been allotted for distribution among the heroic freedom fighters of the upazila.
On the opening day, blankets were distributed to 132 people one by one.
The rest will be distributed on Saturday, January 15, 2022.
